Palacios winery with his nephew Ricardo Perez Palacios, he will be attending the event to present a few of his outstanding achievements from the Rioja, Priorat and Bierzo appellation zones. Fac et spera (do and hope): “Two words that sum up all of the patience and daring that this art demands. Patience in relation to nature which presides. Daring for the winemaker, who observes, chooses and assists.”
For Michel Chapoutier, wine is the faithful expression of this alchemy. Since 1808, Maison Chapoutier has tended its vines with the greatest respect for natural balance and for the terroir and since 1990, Michel Chapoutier, a grape grower, winemaker and wine lover, has led this exceptional vineyard. A pioneer who believes in giving the soil its greatest freedom of expression, in 1991, he implemented the first biodynamic growing practices. Today, Maison M. Chapoutier, which does not cultivate “an estate flavour”, preferring to allow the terroir its own voice, grows 240 hectares of vines in the Rhone Valley including 34 on the Hermitage hill.
The Maison Albert Bichot owns four estates in the heart of the four great wine-making regions of Burgundy: Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. Since 1996, Albéric Bichot has represented the family’s 6th generation to run this house that pays the greatest respect to the terroir and to nature itself. On November 1st, he will take part in the 13th edition of Montréal Passion Vin to share the family’s artistry. A Highly-Colourful Affair!
